Jay Mosser - Senior Pastor

My family and I have served here at Sunset Bible since April 2001. As pastor, my time is given to three primary tasks: preaching and teaching, pastoral care, and leadership. I believe that God’s Word should be reached passionately and clearly, and that a solid pulpit ministry is essential for a church to honor God and build up God’s people. To a hurting world, diligent pastoral care reflects God’s heart for people, and without leadership a church cannot move forward. I am grateful to my wife Kathy and our girls for their involvement in ministry and to both Western Seminary and Northwest Baptist Seminary in preparing me for ministry.

Stephen McCausland - Assistant Pastor

In the summer of 2008, I graduated from Southern Seminary (Master's in Church Music), Amy and I got married (she's from Louisville), then came on staff at Sunset Bible--my home church. My job involves planning and leading our weekly worship services and overseeing Area 57 and Youth Group. I love theology, music, community, and coffee. I'm convinced worship naturally flows from hearts redeemed by Christ's atoning work, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to the glory of God. The congregation is the worship team, God is the audience, and music is a vehicle to serve our community's worship. Amy and I are both grateful to live and serve here with our daughter Clare and second child on the way.

Tyler Pease - Pastoral Intern

I joined the staff of Sunset Bible in 2008 and am currently attending Northwest Baptist Seminary. I am so excited to see the family at Sunset deeply engaged in community outreach, missions, hospitality and other
ministries. It is a joy to head up outreach in a church where people are truly living out the gospel! At Sunset you will experience a tremendous amount of spiritual growth... both my wife, Karen, and I certainly have!
